Creative Support Grant

Inverted Arts is pleased to announce we have been awarded a $15,000 Creative Support Grant from the MN State Arts Board. The program is designed to help arts organizations adapt to the changing environment caused by the global pandemic. Grantees will be able to use funds to support people and activities that will be needed to stay relevant and connected to audiences, participants, students, or communities now and in the future. IA will use the funds throughout 2021 to increase student internship opportunities, develop collaborative peaceful protest projects with our Artist Mentors, offer enhanced virtual Art Exploration programs, and begin the search process for a person of color to serve as co-director.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
