Inverted Arts will be leading its second Art Camp in the Mathare Valley Slum in Nairobi, Kenya April 23-27 in partnership with Mathare Community Outreach (MCO). Classes will be offered in photography, video, visual art and music for about 60 middle-school students. Artist Mentors leading the classes are: Katie Trouten – photography, LaVonne Dyer – visual art, Jason Dyer – video, Mark Collier – music. On Friday April 27 there will be a Showcase event where the students will present their artistic creations to their friends, families, and community.
